CENTRO EDUCATIVO RURAL CANAL UNO
Paralelamente las labores investigativas se llevarán a cabo en Zungo Embarcadero, que es uno es uno los tres corregimientos del municipio de Carepa donde la presente investigación tendrá su foco de acción. Se encuentra ubicado en la zona noroccidental del municipio y está bordeado por el Río León en su parte noroccidental. Sus límites son: Norte: Río León y Municipio de Apartadó. Oriente: Municipio de Apartadó. Sur: Veredas Zarabanda, Carepita, Nueva Esperanza y Las 300. Occidente: con el Río León. La cabecera del corregimiento se encuentra cercada por bananeras las cuales constituyen la principal actividad económica del sector, la vía de acceso es pavimentada desde la cabecera del municipio, pues es la que conduce al embarcadero. Está conformada por los barrios Pueblo Nuevo, Camacol, 11 de noviembre y la invasión 28 de octubre.
La mayoría de sus habitantes adultos son empleados de las fincas productoras de banano y otro porcentaje no mayor al 10% se desempeñan como empleados del embarcadero, sitio donde se acopia gran parte del banano de toda la región para ser exportado.
